Once again, director Anushka surprises us with an astounding and moving film about passion and fear, about relationships, parenting, and ways of facing one’s demons. CAPTIVE tells the story of Camille, a therapist, and her partner Margot, whose desire for a child begins to affect their relationship. The dancer Nina enters Camille's life, consulting her as a therapist, searching for answers and support in her current relationship with Gaël. Camille's fascination for Nina leads them into intense moments full of passion, but also allows them to share fears and anxieties, and finally gives both women the power to choose their own destinies.
