It is the first German feature film about AIDS and Praunheim's most controversial film to date. With amateur actors, gay and trans representatives of the Berlin club scene of the 1980s, Prainheim tackles the effects of AIDS and the rumors surrounding the virus. Satirically, the film traces the first stages of panic and encircles the topic of AIDS in a lurid plot and morbid all-around. A classic!
