Maya Borg's new film is an incredibly intense, intimate and powerful picture about the filmmaker's unique process of dealing with trauma in the wake of a destructive relationship. Searching for healing and belonging, Borg is drawn to queer BDSM practices, through which they’re able to explore their long-forgotten Christian heritage. Queer BDSM practitioners in Berlin, Stockholm and Barcelona are portrayed in the film as they help Borg in their healing process. Confronting their darkest parts, Borg finally finds a way to move forward and acknowledge their own longings.
